Ashalee Soulé is a photographer and cyanotype artist whose work weaves together memory, light, and the quiet poetry of the natural world. Her creative journey began in childhood, developing film alongside her grandfather, a tender ritual that revealed the alchemy of turning moments into something tangible. What started as fascination became devotion; a lifelong practice of noticing beauty in its most fleeting forms.
Now based on the island of Oʻahu, Ashalee’s art is deeply rooted in a dialogue with nature. Creating cyanotypes using real botanicals gathered from her surroundings, she captures the meeting point of science, sunlight, and soul. Each piece becomes a kind of collaboration with the earth itself, a meditation on impermanence and renewal.
